the links page here a shambles and in ruins.
For the time being I will leave this up in a chance that something here
might help you. But please don't send me e-mails about the page as I DO know it
is very old. I am trying to cut out all the sites that are dead links

If you have a page not listed below, PLEASE , Send me your URLs, comments or suggestions. I promise I will add it to the list and give it a fair rating.
Erdoboy's note: Creativity, readability, and volume of information are what garner high ratings from me. A web site needs a lot more than a schedule and a few sharp graphics to get anything above two stars. Some of my reviews may seem harsh. However these are no holds barred reviews. I call them like I see them. But lets face it,... if you are going to be using up WWW bandwidth to visit sites, shouldn't they be sites that have things that you want to see? If you don't think my evaluation of your site is fair, do what I did. I got some weak ratings from other people, (...and justifiably so at the time...) and set out to expand my Patriots' section, clean up the look and make it a place people could find more useful. Now it is much bigger, and I feel, . . . much better.
I have taken it upon myself to help you weed out the wheat
from the chaff. A recent check revealed that about 15 of the previous pages are no longer
accessible. All have since been removed.
Well, . . . surfs up . . .

hard to keep them up to date and thorough and at one place.

The Patriots
Mailing list will allow you to be more informed about
America's greatest football team than you ever thought possible. You can choose to be a reader or a poster, but get yourself signed up for the fun that will come. Additionally the list makes an annual trip to
one away game for the Patriots.

| COMMERCIAL SITES |
With more and more people around the world getting online, you can expect the commercial sites to recognize the value of spending money to have someone make a professional lookingt site. The other thing about this group is that you can expect the quality of teh sites to keep moving forward. With the marriage of the WWW technology and information services, expect to see their offspring take the shape of more video based images, more live audio and video, and eventually 3-D interactive programs. Don't laugh, it is just around the corner. Quite soon they will be leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of us.
Official PATRIOT'S
HOME PAGE - This is the real site. Very professional looking up front, but
lacking in commentary, facts, and hands on activities. Site was just overhauled. The look
is better, but still lacking in content.
It now
features "LIVE VIDEO" in the form of Cyber Sideline. CHECK IT OUT!!
CNN / SI Patriots' page - At first glance it seems really small and barren. However the stack of links on the right hand side lead you to a bit more team information. This site is well stocked.
The SportsNetwork . com NEP page- Part of a HUGE site for all sports. Not many frills but a fairly solid site. As of Aug. 20 the roster listed was for 1996. news bulletins are about a month behind.
USA Today's N E P Page - Last updated 1999.
NEP Inaugaral game commemorative coin - This page is simply about a coin that was minted to remember the Patriots first game at Shaeffer stadium.

Providence Journal, Patriots Articles - Click on Journal-Bulletin Stories to get a good selection of Patriots' insights. You would think that the Globe would offer the best coverage of the Pats.
Boston Globe Patriots Page - Stories from the bean town rag sheet. At present this page is back up and running. It seems to be back in the business of providing very up to date info on the Pats.
Washington Post Patriots Page - Due to it's "out of town-ness" this site is not that well developed.
The Standard Times - A small paper in south Massachusetts.
Radio WEEI -
A sharp looking site making extensive use of frames. They are now broadcasting live.
If only they carried the Pats' games....
